Frequently a person’s first contact with PFLAG comes through a call to our helpline (630-415-0622) which is answered by a system that records your message and then refers it to the volunteer who is staffing the helpline. All calls are returned within 24-48 hours. The helpline is not a crisis line. The volunteer parents are able to listen to your concerns and share their wisdom. They are not trained professionals but simply parents who have walked this path before you. All calls are strictly confidential; all callers are treated with respect.
