How to Contact Us
You can contact all chapters and the PFLAG Council of Northern Illinois via the helpline, e-mail or USPS mail. You can inquire about locations, share concerns, or request PFLAG information. Parents call us, gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals call us, social workers, employee representatives, interested teachers, or concerned friends or family members can call us. In short, anyone can call us for anything and any topic. We try our best to find the best information and best help for you. We strive to return calls and reply to e-mails within 48 hours.

What to expect when calling the helpline: Our helpline is a system where you can leave a message and we will be notified by email that there is a message on our helpline. Please note if we are returning a call on a house or employment phone line, please let us know if we should say that we are from PFLAG and returning your call. We will only leave a message saying that we are from PFLAG if you give us permission to do so. We certainly want to be as discrete as possible when responding to your call.
Once you leave a message, one of our PFLAG members will respond. We will talk with you about your request. If you are looking for support, we will talk with you about your situation, and explain what PFLAG does and how we can help. Usually we can help by sharing stories and helping you feel less alone and provide you many stories so you can see many sides to what you are experiencing. We can also send you pamphlets, booklets, and other materials to read. If you wish, we can try to refer you to some of our counseling resources, LGBT agencies, youth centers, or other LGBT related assistance that could help. we hope these services can help your request.
