Next PFLAG Chicago Meeting, Sunday May 16th, 2-4pm

Our next meeting, as always, is held at the Center on Halsted, Senior Room location,3656 N Halsted, Chicago, IL 60613, direct phone is 773-472-6469.we are accessible by the Addison red line “el stop.” Parking is available, and although there is a Cubs game scheduled, parking can be found because the meters are only for two hours and those going to the game usually park for more than two hours. We give some time during the break to replenish your meter, so hopefully parking will work out.

Our guest speakers will be the About Face Youth Theater Group. they will be performing a skit to entertain us as we prepare for summer. About Face Youth Theatre was created as a safe space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning young people to tell their stories and create community. The exclusion of queer history and dialogue from schools, and the consistent discrimination and violence suffered by queer youth in our school system are the most immediate problems About Face Youth Theatre addresses with our multi-tiered programming.
